NEW Delhi:-Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and TELENGANA LAW MAKING. K.KAVITHA .-Opposition politics arrested last month -week before the start of the loshabha election - in the alleged policy Scam- have been sent to extend judicial custody for 14 days. The Aam Admi party Boss and the Bharat Rashtra Samiti leader -bith in Delhi Tihar jail-will be produced in Court next on May 7.
The Delhi chief minister has a pending in the Supreme Court,in which he has challenged his arrest March 21 by the Enforcement Director on money laundering Charged . The Court heared the matter on April 15 ,but denies Mr.Kejriwal immediately relief pending a reply from the federal agency.
The Court will hear the please on April 29 three days after the election second phase.
Earlier the Delhi High Court rejected the same please, ED had submitted enough material to back its claim -that Mr Kejriwal was allegedly involved in forming the now-Sctaped policy and demanding bribes of Rs 100crore used to fund the AAP Punjab and Goa election campaign.
The case against the BRS leader is that she was part of the 'South group ' -a cartel of business person who paid an alleged Rs 600 crore in bribes to the AAP for allotment of liquor licence.
Ms Kavitha has also denied the charges and, like Mr Kejriwal ,has questioned the timing of ED,CBI a action against her , Coming as it did week and days before the general election
